Framer is an awesome no-code website platform for designers.

But I’ve noticed that the marketplace is saturated with designs for men, by men.

In fact, out of the top 2,000 templates on Framer, only 2.25% are created by women.

Newer design platforms like Framer often emerge from tech-heavy ecosystems — early adopters tend to skew male across both design and development communities. Take one look at their template marketplace and you’ll see a very uniform and dominant visual language (purple gradients and Inter H1s abound!).

I work primarily in Framer now, and all of my clients are female founders. One client even found Framer through ChatGPT’s recommendation.

So, there’s a huge gap — and even bigger potential — in the marketplace for female-led solutions.
